Breathing in the sun...

“Inhale and hold the evening in your lungs.”
― Sebastian Faulks,
Engleby

These photographs of our garden were taken this week at about 6pm. The sun, hidden behind the house for the last few hours, threw a golden glow down the length of the lawn.

I was actually taking photos of our broken fencing, ready to send a ranting letter to our letting agency. For the next few minutes I forgot about the broken panels and just breathed in the sun.

  6. Such lovely photos - I love the late afternoon. After months of complaining that it's too dark indoors all day,Spring has come and brought sunshine - and now I spend half my time moaning that the sun is too bright in photos I take! I'm so hard to please ;)
Hope they fix your fence soon, have to keep that lovely garden secure :)
Thanks for joining in again xx
